JOHN RODRIGUES
John Rodrigues, a lifelong resident of Larchmont, passed away December 12, 2007, at age 67. Born December 26, 1939 to the late Antonio & Mary Rodrigues. He is survived by his loving wife Virginia (nee Guccione) whom he married on February 11, 1961.John was a devoted father and is survived by his sons, Anthony (wife Darlene), John (wife Nancy) and his daughter Lorraine Cucinella (husband Dennis). He is also survived by his brother, Joseph and sisters Mickey Fierman and Delores (Lori) Rigano. He loved spending time with his grandchildren Steven, Stacey, Scott, Johnny, Tyler and Ryan.
John took over Tony's Nurseries after his father passed away in 1961. Through his dedication and hard work the business flourished and became the largest Garden Center in Westchester. John was a big game hunter and traveled the world on hunting expeditions breaking several world records. He was also a very generous person and was committed to various non-profit organizations.
John's real passion was for his family. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather who was always there for his family. He was a remarkable man who touched many lives. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Visitation Sunday EVENING, December 16 from 7-9 pm & Monday, December 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Tuesday, December 18 at 10 am St. Augustine's RC Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
