ROBERT STANG

Robert Stang died on December 14 in his home in Rye, NY at the age of 93.

Prior to retiring, he taught in the Marketing Department of Pace University in Pleasantville. Before that, he had earned an MBA at Pace, after a long career in the high fidelity industry in the N.Y. area, both as CEO of United Audio Products and as president of Stang Sales Corp. During the War, he had served as a civilian engineer in the Signal Corps.

He was known for his intelligence and quick wit. He was a long time resident of Westchester County and a former president of the Mamaroneck Historical Society. He is survived by his son, Donald Stang, and daughter-in-law, Helen Wickes, of Oakland, CA; his daughter, Rae, of Mt. Tremper, NY; his son, Michael, of New York, NY; his brother, Arnold, and his wife, JoAnne; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held December 17.
