CARMELLA BELLATONE

Carmella "Little Millie" (Lanza) Bellatone, a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, passed away March 5, 2008, at age 91. Born July 16, 1916 to Sandy & Marie (Conte) Lanza, she was educated in the Mamaroneck schools. In 1938, she married Anthony "Mickey" Bellantone.

Milly was a communicant for St. Vito's Church. She sang on WCGH Radio Station in Yonkers and during war time she performed in many shows for wounded soldiers. These shows took place at Helleran General and St. Alban's Hospitals in Long Island.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony, who passed away in 1978. Millie is survived by her son, Anthony Bellantone and her daughter, Natalie E. Bellantone-Crispens, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and nephews & nieces, Marie & Richard Lanza, Claire Motta, Michelle Foristel, Glenn & Clifford Radcliffe. She is predeceased by her siblings, Charles Lanza, Vera Dowsing, Grace Travers, Jaye Radcliffe and Nancy Fortunato. Also survived by dear friend and caregiver, Helena.

Visitation today, March 6 from 5-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Friday, March 7 at 10 am St. Vito's RC Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice of Westchester.
