ROBERT J. GUILBERT

( January 13, 2003 ) Robert J. Guilbert, a resident of Larchmont since 1957, died January 12, 2003 in Greenwich. Robert was a decorated veteran of WWII. He received several citations for his distinguished service in the African campaign and the invasion on Normandy among then was the Bronze Star. He continued his career in the army after the war until 1962. After his retirement from the army he worked in the printing field.

He is survived by his wife Lillian (nee: Case), his daughters Carol Gelfer and Germaine Sullivan, his grandchildren George, Colin, Paul, Cristin and Sean, and his great grandchildren Annie and Jack. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Russell, Frank and Ronald.

Visiting: Thursday, January 16 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Mass: Friday, January 17 at 10 am at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont.

Interment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
