George P. Byrne
(July 27, 2003) George P. Byrne, a long time resident of Larchmont died
July
27,
2003. Mr. Byrne was born in Decatur, Illinois on March 23, 1916. He was a
retired
Trade
association
executive and a former FBI agent, a graduate of Harvard College and of Boston
University Law School, a life
member of the Larchmont Yacht Club, a trustee of the
Larchmont Ave. Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Harvard club.
He
was predeceased by Eleanor
Westervelt Byrne, his wife of 52 years. He is survived by his children Barbara,
Karen and Richard and five
grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the
funeral home on Wednesday 7-9 pm. A Memorial service will be held Thursday
at 11
am at the Larchmont Ave.
Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Larchmont
Ave. Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
