ANDREW MICALIZZI, JR.
Andrew Micalizzi, Jr., a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, who also resided in
Vermont, died November 2, 2005. He was 63. Born February 11, 1942 to Andrew J.
and Rosamond (Spafford) Micalizzi, he was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School,
Class of 1960.
Andrew went on to serve in the Army from 1960 to 1963. He worked for R.B.& W.
for ten years before working for the Mamaroneck Board of Education for 29 years.
A member of the Rifleman's Association, his hobbies and pastimes included
teaching his children and about mechanics as well as hunting and fishing.
Andrew enjoyed wood work and creating projects with his hands, including his
home in Vermont.
Beloved husband of 41 years of Barbara (Rogers). In addition to his wife, he is
survived by his children, Andrew (wife Christina), Paul (wife Rosa),
Matthew (fiance Andrea Carilli), Michael (wife Courtney), Donald (wife Jennie)
Micalizzi, Laura Micalizzi and Robin (husband Max) Llaque. Also survived by
grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandra, Xiomera, Daniel and Donald and siblings,
Ralph and Joseph Micalizzi, Patricia Freeman (husband Ron), Roseann Harvey
(husband Jack), MaryJane Micalizzi and Natalie Murray. Predeceased by a
brother, John Micalizzi.
Visitation Thursday, November 3 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday, November 4 from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd.,
Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass, Saturday, November 5 at 10 am, St. Gregory the Great RC
Church in Harrison, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Westchester.
